Subject: Get Out The Vote!

QUOTES OF THE DAY

"You think if you get elected, Gore will try to take credit for it?"

-- Jay Leno, interviewing George Bush (Monday, October 30)

"I don't know that I even like Joe Lieberman... I just don't get a good feeling."

-- Al Gore supporter Cher, on Radio America's "Battle Line" show.

LESS THAN ONE WEEK TO GO!

We are locked in the closest elections in modern history. With less than a week left until Election Day, polls are moving our way and we must keep building momentum.

We must continue working to build our vote, elect more Republicans at all levels (from the courthouse to the White House) to support our commitment to reform, and create a popular mandate for our agenda.

GETTING OUT THE VOTE IS THE KEY!

In any close election, getting out the vote is the make-or-break factor.

GETTING OUT THE VOTE is everyone's responsibility. If you've not done so already, make sure YOU vote. Make sure everyone in your family votes.

And make it a point to talk to at least one or two friends or acquaintances every day between now and November 7.

SOMETHING TO TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY

Since you will be talking to your family, friends and neighbors, here are some lighthearted facts you can use:

24 - Years Al Gore has worked inside the Washington Beltway.

17 - Years Al Gore spent growing up in suite 809 of the Washington D.C. Ritz Carlton Hotel.

2 - Number of White House Coffees Al Gore said he attended.

37 - White House Coffees Gore actually attended.

1999 - Year Gore said he co-sponsored the McCain-Feingold campaign finance bill.

1993 - Year Russell Feingold went to the US Senate.

1992 - Year Al Gore was elected Vice President.

0 - Years Gore and Feingold served together in the Senate.

6 - Months that Al Gore gave the entertainment industry to clean up its act.

Millions of dollars raised by Gore at fundraisers organized & attended by entertainment moguls a week later.

1975 - Year Strategic Petroleum Reserve was established.

2 - Years later Gore entered the United States Congress.

1 - Claim by Al Gore he was involved in discussions about establishing the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

20,000 - Dollars Al Gore makes per year from the Zinc Mine on his property in Tennessee.

3 - Times the Zinc Mine was cited for polluting the Caney Fork River. A source of local drinking water.

3 - Number of different Al Gores that debated Governor Bush.

3 - Number of debates that Governor Bush won.

???? - Number of things Al Gore will say for political gain.

This is the week that they will attack Governor Bush and other Republican candidates. Remember the following facts:

GORE HAS NO EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE - The buck has never stopped at his desk. He has never run a company and he has never run an administration at any level. He has only stood back as part of the crowd and taken pot shots at those that are making a difference.

GORE HAS NO PRINCIPLED POSITIONS - He constantly changes his position depending on the way the wind is blowing. He was pro-life; now he is pro-choice. He was pro 2nd Amendment; now he his pro gun control. Did he really believe Bill Clinton is one of the greatest presidents in U.S. History?

CANNOT BE TRUSTED TO DO WHAT HE SAYS HE WILL DO - Look at his track record. He is a Washington political animal, without experience, character, principles and credibility. His is an era of broken promises, missed opportunities and lack of values and credibility.

Think about it.

THE MEDIA MIGHT JUST BE CATCHING ON

Introducing a story on the Bush offensive in California, Dan Rather opened with Bush 's proposals, "... on themes of lower taxes, better schools, and a better military ...."

It's late in the game, but maybe CBS is finally figuring out the issues. Add fixing Social Security and reforming health care with pro-patient, pro-consumer choice, pro-free market reforms, and they'll have it down.

One week to go. C'mon guys, you're getting warm.
