Campaign 2008 - Fred's Left Coast Recommendations
WARNING: The following recommendations are entirely my own. They are based upon various groups recommendations which I have studiously examined and digested. Along with this, I have added some salt from my own brow in searching for the truth with a lamp until all hours of the night. I have also taken the time to meet some of these candidates and my experiences with them have also been added to the aforementioned volatile mixture. As some icing, I have added my own opinions and some humor stolen from various talk radio personalities. |
November 2008 Election
President
John McCain |
Yes |
Supporter of the Second Amendment.
Sarah Palin, VP is a Life Member in the NRA.
|
Baracka Hussein Obama |
No |
Despite a recent unsuccessful attempt to portray himself as a middle of the road candidate that supports the Second Amendment, he has voted for every piece of gun-ban and gun-control legislation that came his way.
He is politically a Marxist.

U.S. President
Republican Primary |
Fred Thompson
Dropped out of race.
|
- |
Fred (I like that name) is the only Conservative in the whole group that really walks the walk and talks the talk. Fred Stands a great chance of winning if his fundraising continues as it is going. If Fred was President when the USS Cole was attacked, the Navy would have blown those rafts out of the water before they even got close. I have not met Fred, but I would welcome the chance. |
|
John McCain |
Yes |
Here is a Conservative in the defense of our country. He is a liberal in all the social issues (Remember the Campaign Finance bill that should have been vetoed). I met him and he is a really likable fellow. Unfortunately, I did not have much more than 30 seconds with him. He does have the power, along with Fred to beat Hillary and Obama.
|
|
Ron Paul |
No |
Ron is a Conservative, for the most part, but his campaign volunteers are the craziest and ill-informed of any of the other candidates, Liberals included. I have met with fifteen or twenty of his supporters, and they are certainly enthusiastic!
|
|
Mike Huckabee |
No |
Despite being a Christian, Pastor, he is nearly as liberal as California's Governator. |
|
Rudi Giuliani |
No |
Basically a liberal who ran as a Republican. Watch out for you Second Amendment Rights.

The other candidates do not stand much of a chance, unless an atomic bomb falls on the next debates. |

Barack Hussein Obama |
Yes |
The last thing the
United States
needs after 9/11/2001 is a Muslim with a middle name of Hussein. Remember, the Koran says it is OK to deny your faith to the world, if it advances the Muslim takeover of the world. According to Sharia law, any person who is born a Muslim and leaves his faith is subject to death. This alone would prevent Obama from having any respect by any Muslim country, unless, of course, he lied about being a Christian. Besides, Ted Kennedy still confuses Obama with Osama. If you are a liberal, vote for this guy, as he will be a lot easier to defeat.

The other candidates don't stand a chance unless someone publishes pictures of Hillary and Obama in the intimate company of animals. |
Propositions
91 |
Transportation Funds - Constitutional Amendment |
No |
Reduces stability for local public transit and allows lawmakers feeding at the public trough to have more leeway with how they handle our money. |
92 |
Community Colleges Funding - Constitutional Amendment |
No |
Increases more state spending on K-14.
California
has the highest money spent on education and has just about the lowest return on the quality of education. More attention must be paid to Readin, Riten and Rithmatic; less attention paid to whether third and fourth graders feel they may be the opposite sex than what their plumbing and chromosomes say they are.
|
93 |
Limit on Legislators' Terms in Office - Constitutional Amendment |
No |
ANY Legislative person who makes the title of a measure, bill, or law should spend a year at the Gray Bar Hotel. This piece of garbage, restarts all the Legislators time spent in office, so the people who are due to be termed-out are given AN ADDITIONAL 12 YEARS in office. 24 is a TV show and shouldn't be the amount of time we have to put up with liberal s (both Democrats and some Republicans) in office. As the astute liberals Hillary and Obama say, there is time for CHANGE! |
94 |
Indian Casino Expansion |
Yes |
An Indian Reservation is not Federal OR state property; it is it's own nation. This was agreed upon when the Federal and state governments decided that giving parcels of land and making them independent of our government was the less costly way of dealing with the American Indian population. The reservations have absolutely no requirement to pay any tax money to any State or the Federal Government. The fact that 4 Indian Tribes are offering a cut of their profits to Califormia for not hasseling the tribes is a windfall for the State. These casinos will add more jobs AND, since the tribes offered, tax revenues for the State AND more taxpayers that will pay State taxes at 9% to 11% a person. The poorer tribes can get off their butts and raise money and financing for their own casinos. |
